Re: Thursday 29th January 2015
I've just tried to log into the Guardian and just keep getting the log in page coming up over and over again. This is the first time I've tried it since it went fully Beta, is this a common problem? I note that they have the option to log in through Google or Facebook listed above their own log in ...

A big "HELLOOOOO" to justamentalpatient and GrumpyOldGit, and welcome to FTN. I always enjoyed both of your contributions when I still frequented the rag, so lovely to see you here. I've been reading posts at a couple of the other refuges, CU & UT, and it looks as though the Graun has...

I'm not sure the women as special cases is quite right. However, MH problems are behind far too many prison sentences.
The Liaison and diversion pilots should help, but will be pointless if MH services don't exist.

Sorry to hear that NonOxCol. The Graun really has abandoned its roots, its readers and its purpose. Rubbisher has destroyed an institution. Right on cue: https://twitter.com/cantlin/status/560731158116577280" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; This is one of the patronising sta...

Re: Reclassification of disorders
ME is a difficult one and should only be diagnosed after things like MS are ruled out. Yes, there is a problem with wrong diagnosis, but that happens across the board in all kinds of illness. Knowing people with MS and people with ME, I'm inclined to believe that ME is primarily psychological, but f...

Always had the feeling that JW was a bit up herself (in spite of her background).

Nuneaton, North Warwickshire. The uncyclopedia entry says a lot about the place.

When I first ventured onto CiF, I wanted something mildly self mocking, slightly honest and an obvious target for scum who think MH problems=stupid/weak/doesn't know what they're talking about. It was CiFers who guided muggins here, so easier to use the same name and avoid confusion. Also, during on...
