Yeah, yahyah. I remember my mortgage rate going up to 18%. I don't know what the standard rate was because i was self-employed. I still find it strange though, having to pay more than my staff taking on their mortgages while working for the same company.

'And I'll reiterate that he was only elected one week before conference.. He outlined policies during his election campaign but seemingly has had little support from the PLP in developing them further. He should have been allowed another conference at the least to do so.

I'll just add that I don't see Corbyn as ideal in many ways but he had appointed others to act in areas that he may have been weak. Not that it excuses it but that article is from 2011, AngryAsWell. It was the Chancellor George Osborne bit that made me check. Still it may be worth a follow up as I doubt there's any significant change.
