I don't want excitement; I like to read about exciting historical events from the safe vantage point of a compassionate, well-run democracy. It's hard to fight for justice on a daily basis & the road seems to go on forever.

...the Government could and should IMO get on and upgrade existing lines and stations to take longer, faster and more modern trains. And even more importantly, they should enable modern, integrated, affordable local networks to ensure everybody is connected effectively to their stations.

@ ErnstRemarx - I suspect we have much more in common than denoted by our party allegiances. Me too. It's usually the case. Most of us have far more in common than we have differences. A few really don't like the idea of people really believing that. They do very well out of highlighting differences.
