I think Corbyn could have shone there.

He has a huge card, being a proper sceptic. Needs to get himself out there.

Haven't kept count but think Boris has had more applause than every 1 else added up. He's as loved by public as knocked by pundits #ITVEURef

I still think this is their strongest card as on the face of it leaving the EU would allow us to take back decision-making

This is nice and simple to explain but, as with everything else, is essentially meaningless unless you want to leave the single market, and no-one on Leave wants to say that as it will lead to short-term economic meltdown in my view - pound will tank and stay that way until the uncertainty is lifted...at least 2 years

The choice seems to me:

Leave EU, join EEA and so have no more sovereignty (in fact less as have no veto) and no more control over immigration

Leave EU and single market. Any access to EU will come via bilaterals and, as Switzerland has shown, this does not come with attractive terms. The economy will be in a mess for a long time to come, but hey we will be able to stop a few Poles coming in! Pity about the visas and border with the RoI though!

FWIW,after visitation to Scotland and not meeting anyone a definite for Remain among overwhelmingly SNP family/friends(admittedly only a small group)and zero evidence of Remain campaign but plenty on the Leave side-posters,stalls etc,not wholly confident as I was once was about a Remain "win".

It comes with the territory of being leader. It will come again with PMQs, except Corbyn will never get the last word.

If he can't do it, he needs to learn fast. That doesn't mean he has to compete on a narrow range of soundbites. He is genuinely different, he'll make different points for which there is a big potential audience, and he is a proper sceptic too.

He's not cutting through. He knows what the media is like. He needs to something about it.

Christ, he's going to be PM, isn't he
Don't think so. He is done for if a Remain, as there should be.

Khan needs to do well against him though.

Looking at the trend in polling from Mike Smithson I would say momentum is with leave at the moment. In the chaos after a brexit vote who knows what is going to happen? And Brexit isa very real possibility at the moment.

The UK exporters haven't really got stuck in yet.
