All we can do tomorrow is to vote our consciences and beliefs - and that includes those of this site who propose to vote Leave: go forth, be honest, make your choice freely and without reproach.

And then we wait. That's all we can do, we can do no more until we know first the result and then the reaction.

Either way, this country will be a very different place on June 24, and we'll all have to learn to live in it.

It's been a pleasure sharing these times with you all. We will go on into the world that's coming and seek to manage it to the best of our various abilities, and we'll stay friends.

Good luck and love to you all.

Had the Guardian refrained, in the run up to May 2010, from putting quite so much gusto into its bewildering bullying of Gordon Brown, things might now be very different.

Evening all.

Back from three hours of Governing Body meetings having made sure I finished on time to allow those who needed it to get back to break their fast...and me in time to see some of Italy vs Ireland. Amazing finish.

I hope it misses us. We have yellow warnings again, but a not too high percentage for rain. Looks like the Met Office is looking out the window and checking their strand of seaweed again.

It was a brilliant match...So glad S.Ireland finally scored.

Both Irish teams, Wales and England. I don't know who to shout for the most.

It was absolutely dreadful and totally chaotic. Jeremy Paxman was completely unable to "take back control" (to coin a phrase).

Sticking my neck out here...but I did say a while back that the waverers would vote Remain.

There's been upwards of 10% undecided in virtually every poll until we've hit the final ones. When push comes to shove...play safe.

I think the polls are telling us it could be either very close one way, very close the other way, or something completely different.

Or if it hadn't enthusiastically joined in with the highly personalised attack on Ed Milliband October 2010 to mid April 2015. When it seems to have suddenly realised the LibDems really were finished so grumpily suggested voting for Labour, a party against whose leader it had launched multiple attacks per day for the previous 9 months.

An approach it has continued since then against Corbyn.

While the hordes below the line howl how extremely left wing the tribalistic Labour-supporting Guardian is.

Rep Jim Himes, who represents a district near Sandy Hook Elementary School and walked out of a House moment of silence for Orlando, said: “This is a moment for moral clarity and moral language. Like all of you, I’m here to get something done, so I tend to shy away from moral language. But there are moments... When Americans are lying in pools of blood day in and day out, that is a time for moral clarity.”

The comparisons between sit ins during the civil rights movement and today’s House of Reps sit in have been numerous, and John Lewis - one of the heroes and leaders of the civil rights movement - spoke to supporters outside this evening about the power of them in US history.

“Many many years ago, before many of you were born, before you were even a dream, we participated in sit ins and stand ins to change America,” said Lewis.

This from Greg Meeks, a representative from Queens, New York, earlier tonight, who spoke about how the death of boxer Muhammed Ali showed how this country can unite.

We saw this nation coming together. We saw people, Native Americans, African-Americans, Hispanics, white, Jews, Muslims, Christians, all day memorializing the life of a man who decided that he had to stand up and speak out no matter what the cost.

Meeks noted that many criticized the sit in as useless. “They said you can’t win. You don’t have the votes. You must be crazy. They said you’re wasting your time. Well I come back and say look at John Lewis in 1963 when he was almost beaten to death, and they said he couldn’t do it either, but he came back…. we can will and we will win
