It'll be two years soon, since May 2015.

I'm starting to believe that we're on the edge of some major change in society, I think that's Tem's theory, whether eventually for good or ill. Month by month, even week by week, it becomes ever clearer that the government is not only incompetent but malevolent, far removed from any intention to act for the good of the UK as a whole. Mayhem's poll ratings would lead you to believe the opposite. I know there are some here and many outside that think it would be different if we had an 'effective opposition' but I disagree strongly. There's something much more fundamental than Corbyn's ineffectiveness going on.

On Sky News, the Labour leader added: “I fully understand the pressures and issues that members are under, those who represent Leave constituencies and those who represent Remain constituencies. Labour is in the almost unique position of having MPs representing constituencies in both directions and very strongly in both directions.

“I say to everyone, unite around the important issues of jobs, economy, security, rights, justice, those issues, and we will frame that relationship with Europe in the future, outside Europe but in concert with friends, whether those countries are in the EU or outside the EU.
Sounds a lot like vacuous nonsense. But I could be wrong.
This is exactly where I had trouble with Corbyn tonight, too.

Too few schools disproportionately making up the representatives of the country. We need the view from other people and places. I've re-evaluated my opinion. I used to think it was okay to say, as long as they're good, so what? People educated from a few schools alone don't provide enough good, creativity, balance. Politics requires us all represented, for real, not just talk, not a badge pinned on and called diverse. It's got to be diverse.

Our local greens are nice people, but another not-so-local branch in a near by big town are Zac Goldsmith type Green, think Green act/talk tory. Asked what the green solution to homeless is, got told they should be sent back to the city them came from. One person, yes, only one, who - hopefully - does not represent the whole branch but gave an illustration of inc-ordination of national policy, and I'm still none the wiser what that is, apart from build a gazillion homes. Which is good, but no help to those sleeping rough tonight and tomorrow and tomorrow.

The Greens to me from outside look like a complete nightmare of people voting their hobbyhorses into policy, and then some poor sod being left to try and find improbably tax rises. And then, if by a miracle, you get the two sides to balance, a party spokesman goes on telly and forgets it all.

I can't imagine going near them.

My choices are Cons, UKIP, LDs or what in reality is no more than a paper Lab candidate assuming no change from 2015.

I too cannot and will not vote Lab whilst Corbyn and co are at the helm but equally I cannot and will not vote for any other party so abstaining is my only choice

Labour has zero chance of being elected where I live but I always voted Labour previously and it grieves me to see what the party I resigned from in September 2016, has become in the space of 18 months.
