2 years of Tory majority government and we're already back to people waiting on trolleys. God, people have short memories. They had a chance to vote for Ed Miliband and they chose this. What's wrong with people?

This is one of my frustrations with Labour under Milliband and so far Corbyn. I understand why they don't want to make too many spending commitments but in the scheme of things legal aid is small change, and a case could be made that the Coalition made false economies.

So why not commitment now for £X and you will see bad stuff stop? Same as they did with the Bedroom Tax?

Which is the point I was making last week, that he could be viewed more favourably over time the way things are going in politics.

There are some who will have rallied behind him when he became POTUS, and given how enthusiastically May has courted Trump 25% from Tories arguably isn't that high.

Definite opportunities for driving a wedge between the PM and some of her instinctive supporters there.......

Good point. I'm thoroughly demoralised. Parliament is embarking on a course that will materially degrade economic, political and social conditions in the UK. Once gone, it's not coming back. It's not a policy getting worked out better next time. Tory government and the rest of Parliament too, for all I can see, have too much confidence and optimism. Foolish.
