Hmm, probably just being pedantic, but I hope it wasn't the ring they were trying save.Firefighters used pedal cutters - a hydraulic handheld piece of cutting equipment – to free the ring.

BBC (TV News24) is covering the Paul Nuttall story but is drawing the fire from him by also covering (in the same item) the "Twitter" story about the Labour candidate. By implication, suggesting that they are equivalant failings - which, of course, they're not.
