Good morning.
The potential next leader of the DUP sounds like a nice chap and in no way an extremist bigot.

If I'm not here, then I'll be in the library. Or the other library.
Re: Thursday 29th April 2021
Peter Foster on the subject of Brexit problems for fishing/farming, nails a contradiction - if there's no penalty for the govt because nobody cares, why not do a deal?
The thing is all this - for now at least - seems to come with zero political cost for the govt. Perhaps masked by #COVID19 but there is no punishment at the polls for these hits to what are (ultimately) small industries....but that itself begs a question...
If no-one really cares, why not just go ahead and do a deep SPS/Vet deal?
I guess fear of being sucked back into EU's regulatory maw...but it would be boon to producers, fix lots of NI protocol issues and, as we've seen, no-one would care/notice.
So why not??

Strange that most of this morning's papers are leading on a story nobody in the "real world" cares about, eh?

Well, I certainly didn't see that coming...

Presumably the Defund The BBC will still be banging on about the left-liberal viewpoint even thought the takeover by the right is nigh on complete.

No surprise that they are anti-lockdown grifters.
