Slime News --
Re: Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th July 2022
Must not forget that Slithy pushed for herd immunity , following the GBD threesome ? Plus of course a list of mismanagement (to put it mildly!) including those £multi-Bns of fraudulent Covid Loans and c£850Mn Eat Out To Spread it About.
Glad to say myGP and hospital never stopped masking, and the latter insisted on Covid Vaccination Pass too. Unfortunately the mass of people have completely relaxed, thanks to the government's messaging.
So that will cost down the line, in all sorts of ways ...

@RFM -- real Class from Jenkyns
One point in Slithy's favour --- he did/does? oppose reducing Corporation Tax , which is part of the Tory mantra.
It's pointless !

I also note that Graun graphic contains Steve Baker, who had already said he wasn't standing by the time last night's edition went to press.

I see that Mordaunt has ratcheted up the transphobia, in an effort to get the leadership. All those that thought she was an ally, come on – she’s a Tory.

Re: Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th July 2022
Fuck me it's hot.
This is the final photo from a Sunday ramble in rural Calderdale because my friend has sold his house and is moving back to Leeds.
Basically he's sick of living in what he describes as the 'monocultural racist hellhole' that is rural Yorkshire so he's making a return to civilisation.
We didn't meet anyone else stupid enough to be out walking today.
My hands swelled up and I felt sick (I'm ok now though after lots of wine).

Anyway I've been meaning to pop in for the last couple of days but the prospect of weeks/months of Tory psychodrama sucked the life out of me like I was a Nazi watching when they opened the Ark of the Covenant.
And I must admit I've never heard of Rehman Chisti either.

Re: Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th July 2022
What's quite amusing, now that both are gone (sort of), is the way Johnson and Corbyn supporters are having a weird circle jerk wanking each other off.
Johnson as we know only got 300,000 votes more than Theresa May did in 2017. Hardly an epic achievement. His 80 seat majority didn't come from his own electoral genius but from an 8% collapse in the Labour vote. A collapse of such a scale not seen for a substantial chunk of a century.
Neither Johnson or Corbyn supporters want to admit this so we have the hilarious spectacle of the left of Labour bigging up Johnson while Johnson's supporters claim his victory over Corbyn was an epic victory that should be recorded in song.
The truth is Johnson was a tiny bit better than Theresa May, while the second time round Jeremy Corbyn was a fucking disaster.
