and can I ask why Hugo has come here going on about an incident between McDonnell and McVey years ago when she is there because she has been put in a position of influence because the Tory Defence Secretary has resigned over undisclosed poor behaviour and been replaced by a rather unpleasant character (mind you would you be able to find any other sort of character in the Tory Party current vintage)

The Defence Secretary it may be said has resigned without any pressure to do so coming from the Labour benches and the whole of this list and the allegations within seem to have all come from within the Tories themselves

If he had said it I would agree with you, but it seems he did not. It was said in a meeting and he reported hearing it, does that make him "guilty"? Not in my book.
As for McVey - least said soonest mended, though it will take many years to even start to heal the damage she has been party to causing.
I don't think you're reading is right, but there we are. The report is there. McDonnell has plenty of form for this kind of thing.

As I said, depends on what you read and what you (chose) to believe.
I'm not a Corbyn/ McDonnell fan, but am a fan of fair trial rather than just hanging.
