Airbus boss Brexit warning: 'We are entering a dangerous phase'
Airbus employs 6,000 people at Broughton in Flintshire and thousands more in businesses involved in the supply chain for the site. Airbus has 600 EU workers in the UK and 1,800 Brits in Europe.
He added that impediments to the free movement of products between sites could impact long term future investment decisions.
Chief operating officer Tom Williams told MPs that Washington would be "delighted" if free movement was hit.
He added that the US would make decisions based on the benefits to US rival Boeing and that he was sceptical that the World Trade Organisation (WTO) was effective at resolving disputes.
The BBC reported that he said relying on WTO rules if an EU deal could not be reached was not a "sensible fallback position".

You want Labour to vote the way that will do them maximum damage as you are not really a supporter, so a good position for the party to take is to do the opposite that you suggest
I completely accept that I don't care about my former party any longer. I think it is a barrier to removing the Tories and is led by someone who, on his own, makes it immoral to cast a vote for them.
No, what I care about is the form of Brexit. It is appalling that Labour has abandoned all attempts to stop a Hard Brexit.
I understand why Corbyn, McDonnell and Milne favour it. It is the creative destruction that their ilk so often favour. McDonnell isn't stupid, and he is right that the worse things are the better the prospects for his brand of politics.
But it is depressing that so many of the PLP seem to be meekly keeping their heads down in the hope of appeasing the immigrant hating members of their constituencies. Immoral cowards, IMO.

Given this, much of the discussion was about what exit would mean in terms of the political aftermath in Britain and where it would leave the workers’ movement.
The platform was unanimous on this. They argued, incredibly in my view, that an exit vote would create a good situation for the left. It could well bring down the Tories and even bring a left wing Corbyn government to office.

Brexit Labour has the answer for Airbus.

Labour says Airbus in #Flintshire should be handed assurances, similar to those given to Nissan, following Brexit. #HeartNews
The bill can be sent to John McDonnell's Investment Programme.
Are we really embarking on Hard Brexit with no sense of what these subsidies could add up to?
