I've been reading a book about French history and one of their peasant proverbs made me laugh...

'When you make good soup the devil will always shit in it'.

It's obviously fatalistic and works perfectly well now.

The problem is Corbyn's supporters are so carried away with themselves they'll never see the devil's shit coming.

What is there left to say?

I wish the left the best of luck. I didn't think they stood much of a chance but I was wrong.

So now what am I supposed to do? I'm delighted Corbyn is riding a wave but waves tend to reach a beach and lose all their energy just sloshing about.

You need to keep the waves coming like some perpetual socialist energy machine.

Corbyn can break the laws of physics. He's that awesome.

Don't get me wrong, I wish you well.

I'm just a bit sceptical.

Views differ,on some things even centrist positions to me never mind left, that there is any debate or uncertainty re.freezing or capping appals me in generality and don't get me started on UBI nonsenses IMHO as eagerly discussed on the right,I am forever to be disappointed,a fact I accept.

I used to do a nightly soup run in London, suffice to say when I made it I played my part in lessening the number of homeless.

AS an aside the Salvation Army were very "protective" of their areas, almost fisticuffs at times if we encroached their patch and/or time.
