I know that MPs aren't MPs any longer but does anyone know what happens to Ministers? Are they still in their post or do they relinquish that today too?

They remain ministers - in that they are nominally in charge of their departments in case there is some sort of emergency.
Eg. if there were riots or something, we still have to have a Home Secretary to be in charge.
Off topic......
I saw a comment somewhere which pointed out that Farridge is younger than Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp.

Well I have to say that Coalition was rather well done although, as was maintained at the beginning, there may have been some artistic license with the dialogue. However it has left me feeling rather like a spurned lover. Nonetheless I have personally written to Clegg before, passage of the Health and Social Care Act 2012 and clearly expressed my thoughts as well as since concerning his legacy. Yes you may consider me one who thought it a great mistake. Nevertheless I had been oblivious to the rise of the Orange-Bookers and am now more determined than ever that the Tories shall not retain power.
Now back to making the tea.
Edit: inserted missing word and deleted a duplicate. - and a correction I wrote before passage.

Two articles that deftly explain why the all important 'feelgood factor' the Tories were banking on to propel them into a poll lead in time for the election is proving stubbornly elusive:

Yes, both Tony Robinson and Ricky Tomlinson are both Labour supporters, as is (as per Ernst's question above) Julie Desmondhalgh. Brian Cox left the party earlier this year, having contracted a severe bout of nationalism last year. Alan Rickman is very much a supporter, he reckons he was born a card carrying member; his partner of 38 years, Rina Horton, was a Labour Party councillor in Kensington and Chelsea for 20 years.frightful_oik wrote:Baldrick! Watching Osborne on C4 News.
1. Refused to admit that the £3,000 taxes was simply dishonest
2. Said that in 2010 we were on the brink of a catastrophe and bankruptcy
3. Refused to admit that there has to be a leadership contest before the next election
4. Used the "debt is falling as share of national income" line which is untrue.
And this is the bleedin' Chancellor!

That Clegg leaflet has made my blood boil. How dare he claim to be protecting spending on nurseries? When nurseries within his own constituency were having their funding cut by the Lib-Dem controlled council (and they were one of the first things targeted by that council despite public statements claiming otherwise) and the managers of those nurseries wrote to him pleading for support, to come and see what was about to be lost, he couldn't even be bothered to reply nevermind visit the nurseries he was invited to visit. A lot of good people lost their jobs and a lot of families lost a valued means of support and community without a word from their supposed representative in Parliament.yahyah wrote:

He also took the opportunity to attack Labour for wanting to take the country back to the “grim” 1970s which was a time of racism and trade-union dominated politics,

That is totally unbelievable and an outrage! Thanks for posting that.
Kaliya Franklin aka @BendyGirl was one of the first and most well known disability campaigners to come out and start fighting the Tory cuts in 2010 and has continued to do so ever since.
She is fiercely intelligent, very witty and a constant thorn in their sides, despite severe and painful disability.
She has even written for this very publication and her blog was shortlisted for the Orwell Prize .
Esther McVey is her MP and one of her dearest wishes is to see Fester McVile lose her seat. She has met her as part of her campaigning as she has met with many politicians. For Esther to use her as a photo op to pretend they love the disabled is frankly sickening and just shows the depths to which the Tories will sink to win.
Glad to hear that she is contacting the party to make it clear she did not give permission for the photo to be used as campaign material.

Last GE, YouGov slightly altered their methodology for *official* campaign period to the net benefit of the Tories. Same again?
