Fucking Kay Burley is pinning Ed on his answers. She didn't with Dave.
And now they've allowed a question about his brother being more qualified.

Even LBC said Dave's questions were easy. Now Burley's telling us not to vote Labour. And much tougher questions.

Why is Burley talking so much more than she did with Cameron.

Cameron got eaten alive by Paxman. Those claiming Paxman was a biased Tory proven wrong.

Easy audience session for Cameron.

Much tougher audience session for Miliband. But, he is coping well with it, probably out of practice, he has done dozens of these recently.

Let's see what Paxo does with Ed

Though I suspect too a degree of "compensating" in his approach to Dave given his recent public admission that he is Tory inclined.

EM is genuinely very good at the audience stuff though, yes he is practiced at it now but it was also a strength for him back in 2010's leadership campaign.

(I remember you saying you went to one of those hustings and weren't impressed by him - but maybe that was just an off day; the people I have spoken to who went to them say that Ed generally outshone his brother and some were persuaded to change their vote as a result)

Miliband getting a lot more [positive] audience reaction than Cameron did.

Audience appears to be being won over by Ed's responses to these ridiculous questions from Paxman.

Miliband got a second wind there.

Ed hammered Paxman, absolutely murdered him.

To be fair he wasn't deferential to Cameron. Distainful and challenging I thought.

His line of questioning to Miliband was poor, and that was easily dealt with by Ed.

"You're important Jeremy, but you are not so important that you get to decide the result of the Election 6 weeks out" - back of the net!!! Paxman ate Cameron alive, Miliband bit back and bit back effectively! In my (obviously partisan) opinion that was a convincing win for Ed, despite Burley's constant interruptions and obvious bias.

The questions Ed was asked in previous Q&A were predominantly about what Labour would do if they won an election, which is pretty relevant if you're trying to decide who to vote for. Asking him mainly (exclusively?) questions about yhe past does not serve an electorate trying to make an informed choice for the future. Free Speech was better.

My husband said when Cameron was on at one point the audience gasped. I've no idea why, but it's never a good sign. Reminiscent of the Ask the Leaders when he got a similar reaction to one of his answers.

Pointless if it was meant to help the don't knows decide who to vote for whatever party they lean towards.
Insulting to keep on about Ed being a geek.
Spiteful going on and on about his brother.
Hopeful it might gain a sympathy vote.
Really pissed about Danzuk being quoted.

Eds response to being called a North London geek by Paxman was brilliant. Utterly dismissive, the body language equivalent of "bite me."

Edited to add - If I were Danczuk I would hide in Michael Goves toilet, if Miliband passes him in the corridor our Simon will be falling down stairs.

Burley hardly asked Cameron anything.

Miliband handled Paxman pretty well, the whole 'what should the population limit be'? was a bit ridiculous. Personal questions for Miliband, failed policy questions for Cameron. I don't remember any panning to the audience for Camerons Paxman section.
