Reminds us who the real enemy is, anyway. It's the sociopathic scum who don't care at all for humanity, not the people who disagree about how best to improve things.
Sorted.

Interesting that only 50% have voted so far..

"As late as Tuesday, only 50% of the 554,000 people entitled to vote had returned their ballot papers" (well maybe a few more by now, but still)

This one really isn't a surprise.

The DM have it wrong anyway - in the text it says "all primary school pupils" when it was infants only i.e. KS1. No, they're right - I hadn't spotted the "in the first three years" bit following on.

I can imagine schools that have had kitchen equipment especially installed not being too thrilled about this...the DfE were bounced into this by Clegg so I guess they can say "hey, not our policy in the first place".

Another coalition triumph!

And this one isn't either.

1. Make outrageous claims against someone living
2. Have them proved a pack of lies
3. Cast doubt about reliability of witnesses
4. Forget the whole thing - including those who have since died

Yep. I think the Tories are probably right to do this.

@HindleA: I'm glad to read that the celebration of your wife's life went well. And be assured, there is no way that you could ever let her down!

These people supply sharps boxes (the ones on the linked page cannot be used for anything contaminated with cytotoxic/cytostatic medicines):

When we needed to dispose of my late father's sharps box, earlier this year, we dropped it off at the doctor's surgery he attended - the local council offered to collect it but they charged a fee (can't remember now what it was, my sister spoke to them) but some councils don't charge.

Takes me back to a day about 25 years ago when I watched someone peel a hard boiled egg for Ken in a student digs at Guildford Uni.

I'm not sure whether you saw my mentioning HARDtalk on the Future of Socialism the other morning, rr2, repeated here in a little more detail: Zeinab Badawi talks to Ken Livingstone and Charles Clarke about what the leadership battle within Britain's Labour Party means for socialist politics. I would close my eyes if I couldn't dream.
