Sky News has produced its own forecast for the final results. (The broadcasters share the exit poll, but after that, as the results come in, they produce their own analysis.)

They expect the Tories to get between 308 and 328 seats. Their central forecast is 318, which is four up on the exit poll, but four below the BBC’s forecast.

Labour have held all three seats in Wolvo - May 'relaunched' their English campaign there and Johnson turned up early on too. The three seats were, officially/apparently, one very safe, one should have been safe but thought likely to lose and one bound to lose. Held all three. I've been working in NE all week (which is my work constituency) and even after the exit poll the party were pretty sure they were going to lose. Her vote went up from 45% to just over 50%. SW majority went up from a few hundred to a couple of thousand. Good stuff.

I would just like to say thank you to the ex member of parliament Nick Clegg for causing me to cut up my Liberal Democrat membership card and flush it down my toilet.

Clearly stabbing Charles Kennedy in the back and moving the party away from its Social Democratic platform into a coalition with the forces of evil has been a work of political genius.

Those of us at the time who warned of dire consequences were banned from official forums and shunned at conference for being 'unremittingly negative' have turned out to be right. Funny that.

Anyway goodbye and good riddance you fucking clown.

Glad Vince is back though. He's cool.
