I don't get why Leave are throwing in the towel, a whole load of non exit polls don't seem like evidence to me.

Maybe they don't actually want to win.

The good thing about this format (first adopted with the Khan and Goldsmith Mayoral election?) is that's no fussy externals call
attention from the cartoons. That's also what's bad about the format. Just silly cartoons - no one is voting for Boris Johnson or
Dave Cameron, this is just make-believe. EU referendum - the UK remain in the EU or no? That's the only question
the electorate are asked to answer.
But I'm afraid a lot of people have treated it more like a general election and wanting to see those leading Remain or Leave get a bloody nose. I did it too. I voted on personalities.
Then Dave and the entire Tory party achieved precisely what they wanted. The people get to tear each other apart some giving the
utterly false impression a democratic people are experiencing democracy. Tories muster no more than 25% of the vote in the entire
UK and they're still government leadership. Bastards.

From 22.52 All seven of the areas that appear to be leaning towards Leave – or flirting with it – have heavily Labour controlled councils and mostly Labour MPs.
Not sure about this - people Ive spoken to have been a fairly equal 3 way mix - remain, leave and appalled & refusing to vote
On the plus side my daughter finally voted for the first time today, from her comments on the far-right leavers, fairly sure that she, like me, voted remain. Turnout seemed to be quite high locally, but I have no idea which way the vote will go.

They say they will, but when it comes to going to the polling station, they can't be arsed.

I reckon the LibDems are to blame for some of their lethargy. I remember seeing them excitedly queuing up to vote in 2010. And then Clegg reneged on his written promise about uni fees.
It was a massive slap in the face for them.
