When Channel 5 started up at the end of the 90s it was (a bit) famous for trying and failing to build a stripped schedule around Jack Docherty and then falling back on softcore porn but it should have been much better known for its morning children's programmes. I don't know what they're like now as my kids are now 15 and 19 but back in the day 'Milkshake' on 5 was the regular morning's viewing and Brian Cant was right at the heart of it, back to do voiceovers and be the one real person in amongst a lot of puppetry.
