I see the Graun have gone full bore on the 'Labour Antisemitism' story again.

Indeed.

The story is basically "there are people on Twitter with opinions"

Actually, the Observer.

There is still a significant difference, the Obs has been politically awful for over a decade - the daily paper still isn't as bad despite its decline under Viner.

I've read the report [pdf] identified in one article.
I'm really at a loss here after having read and re-read the report. The evidence provided doesn't support the conclusions made. What is the Labour party supposed to do about a couple dozen unidentified twitter users posting offensive tweets?

Why can't the Labour Party play the "satire" card on the anti-semitism issue? Everybody else is doing it lately. And, seemingly, getting away with it.

For example -
England would be better off without Scotland, Tory candidate said

Conservative vying to win back Bedford seat said taxpayers south of the border are ‘fleeced’ by Scots

Ryan Henson was selected last year as the Conservative candidate for Bedford and Kempston, which Labour won from the previous Tory MP, Richard Fuller, in 2017 with a wafer-thin majority of 789 votes.

Last night Henson said the article [which he wrote for "Conservative Home"] had been intended as satire. (Observer)

Talking of satire, the latest DFH piece doesn't disappoint in that regard.

I see I have no responses to my 'name that pond snail' competition.

This disappoints me and makes me wonder if any of you are worth the effort.

Then other less visited parts of my brain remind me it's probably best not to make a fuss.
