No-one will ever convince me this isn't partly the BBC's fault either.

Agreed. They treated Farage like some sort of tame monkey to start with, gave him oxygen when he didn't have any MPs, and he is now an out of control ...something or other !

They've had their fun. I've switched to the BBC coverage now (I followed the ITV coverage which has now finished) and I get the impression that the enormity of it all is sinking in at the BBC now that it's too late.

And one last thing before I drive to work.
I have so little faith in my country now, I think it would probably vote for Trump. So I won't be mocking any dumb redneck Americans for the rest of the year. We really are no better. Not any more.
Just unbelievably stupid, from hubristic top to ugly filthy racist emboldened underbelly.

Please drive safely. I meant well, in this message, I hope that comes through. I've not slept.

Looking forward to the indepth political analysis of which areas voted Leave / Remain v how they voted in the GE.
I'm expecting a lot of BlameCorbyn. Fair enough, given how stupid he was to have the pledge of a referendum in his manifesto. And he couldn't even take his party's supporters with him to support Remain. Why couldn't he be more like Cameron?
Wait a minute....

I don't blame Jeremy Corbyn for this mess. That blame I reserve for David Cameron. But I can't say that Jeremy Corbyn impressed me. Yes, he did articulate that the EU isn't perfect and I agreed with him on that - but he made too little (enthusiasm-wise) of the good parts.
