The Conservatives have held Kettering, with 57.9% of the vote for Philip Hollobone.
That’s up 6.1 points on 2015 – but Labour in second place on 36.5% are up 11.4 points.

Darlington has been held by Labour. It was a key target seat for Theresa May, who hoped to win the seat. If the party was heading towards a significant majority then this is one seat May should have won.

Christ, the pre-emptive weeping over the loss of the "giant" Clegg from Twitter bods I otherwise like is quite something to behold.
I respect his EU position but frankly very little else. And that's quite polite.

I'll be interested to see how Greg Mulholland in Leeds NW gets on because I worked for him in my previous life as a Lib Dem and we beat Labour by unashamedly exploiting the student vote. If Labour have any sense they'll have done the same this time round and it'll be interesting to see if he can be toppled using the same tactics.

The Labour majority is up by around 12,000 – striking, as this seat was thought to be a Tory target.
