The Conservatives have held Kettering, with 57.9% of the vote for Philip Hollobone.

That’s up 6.1 points on 2015 – but Labour in second place on 36.5% are up 11.4 points.

I've lost count of the number of deposits the LibDems have lost.

The Exit poll cannot show the granulometry for all seats...saying it is 'underperforming' is a bit disingenuous

Darlington has been held by Labour. It was a key target seat for Theresa May, who hoped to win the seat. If the party was heading towards a significant majority then this is one seat May should have won.

It was a close result: Labour’s Sarah Church was second on 22,347.

I'll be interested to see how Greg Mulholland in Leeds NW gets on because I worked for him in my previous life as a Lib Dem and we beat Labour by unashamedly exploiting the student vote. If Labour have any sense they'll have done the same this time round and it'll be interesting to see if he can be toppled using the same tactics.
