The Government announce they have secured the right to deport criminals to other EU countries, but we already can do this. Leaving the EU will if anything make it harder.

Sounds more like blackmail to me...don't blame them for doing it but it comes to something when the people who normally jeer at any public spending will lap this up.

Corbyn to perform Labour manifesto on 50-date stadium tour

http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/arts ... 0626130387
Tour manager Nikki Hollis said: “This is the biggest production I’ve handled since The Rolling Stones. Jeremy wants a 150-foot mechanical Nye Bevan and a group of 200 miners singing a medley of angry folk songs.

“Fortunately his rider is just a jug of tap water, a jam sandwich and an old woman he can empathise with.”

It's an awful lot of money for that one vote a year where the DUP's natural position differs from the Tories.

Of more concern, perhaps, is what price will Tory backbenchers extract for their loyalty.....

There are going to be a lot of questions about how the government can afford £1bn for its DUP deal, and those questions are very legitimate.

Incidentally, in the back of my mind, I'm pretty sure there was something that was going to happen after the election and following May's glorious crushing of Labour.

Wonder what it was? A flying visit perhaps. It'll come to me eventually I expect.

Ha!

That will be why the Glastonbury Pop Festival was once upon a time back in the 80s co-hosted by CND. On account of its strictly non-political outlook, one presumes!

One of my history teachers was a member of CND and used to take a long weekend every year to attend. Gove so wouldn't approve.....

May's plan for EU nationals

Plans are being published today, she says. She says she wants to set out the key points.
1 - She wants certainty, she says. No EU citizen in the UK lawfully will have to leave.
Falls down on the first point
If an EU national has absconded from some continental hoosegow for the UK, sure, that's an EU national in the UK (or any other country) unlawfully
What does May mean by it?
