So I'm confused.
I assume that's why leaving it had to be specifically written into the revocation of Article 50.

Primary school children lose marks in Sats tests for misshapen commas
Pearson, which administers the tests for the Department for Education, confirmed that the marking guidance was genuine and said it was part of a wider suite of training materials for markers. A spokesman for the Department for Education said that schools can apply for a review of contested marks.

Pearson issued a statement saying: “Marking quality is extremely important and is something we monitor continuously. In the unusual circumstance that there is an error, there is a review process in place which ensures a fair and transparent system and enables Pearson to correct any discrepancies and ensure pupils receive a fair mark.”
Who or what is Pearson, please? Primary school pupils' test scoring is done by an outside company, is this correct?
I don't understand why it's necessary to fragment tasks like this
Inconsistent grading is exactly what I'd expect from such a process

Earth's sixth mass extinction event already under way, scientists warn

The new study, published in the peer-reviewed journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, eschews the normally
sober tone of scientific papers and calls the massive loss of wildlife a “biological annihilation” that represents a “frightening
assault on the foundations of human civilisation”.

Prof Gerardo Ceballos, at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, who led the work, said:
“The situation has become so bad it would not be ethical not to use strong language.”
