"Britain, divided
What if a new border confirmed the UK’s new reality: Leave and Remain voters live in two different countries."
David Davis, the new prime minister of Britannia, fought to retain the name “Great Britain,” but was forced to back down due to the inescapable logic that his country is no longer formed of the Greater of the British Isles. But Britannia sounds grander, more historic somehow, he thinks. The passports are blue again too.

"Dense and rich"? So he's met Boris Johnson then.

Looking like the latest incident in London is not terror related. Best wishes to all those who were caught up in whatever did happen.

She tweeted: "I apologise for the state of London, sir. The mayor has let us all down. It is simply not worth the risk."
In another tweet with video footage of the scene, she simply wrote: "London is not worth the risk."

[Ruth] Davidson described Johnson as a “big intellect and big figure in the party”, adding that the prime minister had her support if she believed he was the best person to be foreign secretary. (Guardian)
Why not just say that he's a boorish self-publicist? Why do people continue to prop up this Boris Johnson fiction - created by himself for himself? I have seen no evidence of his "intellect" - only a memory for quotes and fragments of Latin.

Well, no swimming due to there being a gala but I have done our tax forms and looked at our finances for the next few years.

Quite a productive morning all round...and 'er indoors is doing a little bit of the ironing.

Davidson claimed colleagues had forgotten that they were lucky to be serving the country. “It is not and should never be about private ambition.”

She added that “lying in wait [is Jeremy Corbyn’s] neo-Marxist government ready to take over”.

“It is apparent – even four years out – that the Conservatives face a real challenge in winning the next election,” Major wrote in an article for the Mail on Sunday. He said the alternative was a “Labour government led by two convinced neo-Marxists”.
The Tories appear to have a new catchphrase and theme to replace "Labour's mess".
