Government to set out proposals to reform care and support

Re above.
First Secretary Damian Green has announced that the government will publish a green paper on care and support for older people by summer 2018.

There is not an "older/elderly care system".It is Adult.

From your quoted article -

"This consultation will make sure this support continues to be targeted where it is needed most."

Well, perhaps it might if they took any notice of the consultees. Which they probably won't.

Absolutely no surprise regarding green paper, particularly given the manifesto and "elderly"
misrepresentation but no less gut wrenching not least in utter stupidity, clarification.

Question Time from Newcastle a bit of a mixed bag tonight, thought Emily Thornbury wasn't on her best form, Nadhim Zahawi remarkably said something I agreed with, Rod Liddle was his usual populist bore of a self, Tim Farron had the audacity to criticise austerity conveniently forgetting the Lib Dem's role in it, and the Scottish writer Val McDermid was wonderful and right about everything.

Funny how it's nearly always the one who's not overtly involved in politics who tends to be the smartest.
