Will Gove be staying where he is do we think?

And is that in a long-past-its-best b&b just off the M56 junction 12 (nr Holiday Inn Runcorn)

Well done, Greening, if that's true.

Nobody wants Universal Credit. Trouble is, some far right goon will probably stick his hand up, and cause even more mayhem.

Greening has a marginal Remainer constituency that she needs to tend.

I wouldn't be surprised if May now has another Nicky Morgan on her hands.

But I reckon a moneyman like Greg Hands is more likely. He's a charmer.

Fairly astonishingly, Greening was the first education secretary (including Labour) ever to go to a Comp.

This reshuffle is hopeless. May is just dreadful at politics. Easily, by a mile, the worst cabinet and shadow cabinet since ww2.

Could we just focus on the cabinet for today?

Just for once, perhaps, please?

Why? The Tories are utterly dreadful, and the only party with the possibility of replacing them is also dreadful If the Tories were terrible and there was hope it would be more bearable.

There is *some* talent both in the Labour and Tory parties, but politics now seems to be structured to confine them to the periphery. It is appalling.

Hinds, by contrast, went to a grammar school, like many other previous Education secretaries.

WHat is amazing is that it is EASY to construct better cabinets and shadow cabinets from those on the backbenches. I don't think that has ever been true before.

I do know that all other coutries have their problems (I like Australia for example, but it has a worse problem with race than the UK IMO for example), but somehow if you live in another country you don't feel responsible for the appalling condition of politics there.

I don't think anyone is rushing to dissuade you.....I would not assume grass is always greener though

The person who has said Corbyn is wrong is being a bit disingenuous as the relation between non-EU members and the EU internal market is one that is open to different descriptions

There is an argument, as we have had many times before, that non-members of the EU are no longer part of the EU Single Market but have bespoke agreements based on them meeting criteria that meets the requirements of the EU treaties.

One of your articles you linked to the other day which you praised made the same point

I think also Corbyn has been consistent on this so why is it worthy posting a quote where he reaffirms the same position on the day the Tories are in meltdown....again?

That's Corbyn being deliberately over-literal to deflect a question he doesn't want to answer, isn't it?

Not the worst thing that a politician has ever done.
