Sky News (TV) - Arlene Foster says, "There is no prospect of etc etc." So no power-sharing deal agreed.

Another triumph for Theresa May, and a filip for the "Brexiteers".

Edited - typo

Although not good for Northern Ireland, of course.

I'd better clarify my comment about the "Brexiteers" and Northern Ireland, otherwise you might think I'm serious. What I mean is, it's one more bit of uncertainty swirling around which can't help them in these rocky times. I hope.

Mentioning "carrots" is one thing. Reading the (and I hesitate to use the word) 'words' he used, is another.

It's very important isn't it? Finally Emperor Boris, the very symbol of all that is worst with the Brexit shambles, has no clothes. The Crace article was excellent.

Presumably we can expect more of the same from May, Fox and Davis. There's half a chance of something vaguely coherent from Lidington, but nobody knows who he is anyway.

The game's up.

Yes - I thought the John Crace article was a cut above. Different mood to it, somehow.

Boris Johnson is being scorned on Sky News and Theresa May is being pitied.

Did Jeremy Corbyn know he was entertaining a Soviet bloc spy in the House of Commons? There is much in the spy’s account Corbyn ‘doesn’t recall’. His statement tonight:

Thank you for your interest. Speaking as a border I am sorry to see that your country has such a massive divide in it. I suggest installing a border inside it to keep it together.
