BUT it misses one vital point .

I see that utterly vile Labour Friends of Israel tweet from yesterday has now been deleted.
Sometimes, public shaming does work.

Perhaps it was just a tactical retreat, they surely haven't changed their opinion ?AnatolyKasparov wrote:I see that utterly vile Labour Friends of Israel tweet from yesterday has now been deleted.

It didn't stop the word for word propaganda blabla on WatO just now --
" They are armed with wirecutters, bombs and molotov cocktails, to get through the fence and massacre civilians"
Meanwhile smiles from Daddy's Little Ghoul, fifty miles away --
I wonder if some MP's cancel their membership of LFI ? Or would it be better to criticise from within it ?

One member of LFI is Emily Thornberry - not easy to see how that is reconcilable with her very robust statement yesterday.

Re: Tuesday 15th May 2018
something I'm currently ruminating upon
How responsible are individuals for the opinions of other individuals sharing membership in organisation(s)?
In many cases it may be clear, in others, not so much

Re: Tuesday 15th May 2018
I think this is brilliant ( tho finding it diff to post image!) --
Does anyone, including the BOD/JLC/LFI , believe that Jeremy Corbyn or blabbermouth Livingston actually hate Jews ?
I'm still amazed at the ineptitude and lack of character/straight speaking of the LP's reaction to this whole issue . They roll over and agree "Yes yes yes, we have a Big Problem and we're going to solve it ", when they could point out that of course there is AS in the UK but rather (or even much) less on the left than on the right ! And they are going to sort out their own problems.
End of. Eff off !
PS and BTW the LFI should examine their own consciences on their incessant support for any and all Israel's policies and actions . They are members of the UK parliament, not the Knesset .

Thanks for all the contributions on the antisemitism debate. Massively rational thoughts on a sensitive subject.

Continuing today's theme, could all Labour members on here please vote for anybody BUT Jasmin Beckett in the upcoming NEC elections?

The first part of my post gives the steer there - a tweet of hers every bit as bad as the LFI one. Last I looked, it hadn't been deleted either
As far as LF is concerned, Luke the Nuke has been unusually quiet in the past 24 hours........
