It's difficult to say how much of a disgrace she is, and how much of a disgrace she is making us. I"m sure she'll soon take her lead from BTL true believers and tell Ireland that imposing a hard border will be a matter for them and nothing to do with us.

“I can’t wait for the vigilante squads to start gunning journalists down on sight,” the right-wing nationalist told Observer over text message, in response to a longer feature in development about an Upper East Side restaurant he is said to frequent.

Question Time this evening came from Exeter.

I'll begin with Clive Lewis simply because he's been the most impressive Labour politician I've seen in a long while, he genuinely seemed to give a shit about his convictions and argued for them ably. Labour need a lot more like him.

For the Conservatives we had Suella Braverman, our 'Minister for Brexit'. And as you would expect given her job she was a Panglossian simpleton, brushing away criticism with promises of everything working out better in the end based on nothing other than wishful thinking. She didn't quite offer free unicorns but she was pretty damn close. And having a droolingly optimistic imbecile like her as a Brexit minister should terrify us all.

We also had Janet Street-Porter (who is a character played by Pamela Stephenson using Orange peel teeth) putting in a solid shift being grumpy at the government.

And Helen Lewis from the New Statesman who was pretty good but mostly just seemed amused by the whole thing.

Oh yeah and Johan Eliasch, head of some sportswear business. He was from Sweden and it was good to hear a proper Swedish accent because so many are taught English nowadays by English TEFL tutors or the American equivalent that you rarely hear a Swede taught English by Swede's these days. I had a Swedish girlfriend for a while and she had that Estuary English accent, sort of. Anyway Johan proved once again that one can be a rich successful businessman and still be a monumental idiot when he claimed the UK would make a considerable profit from Brexit and therefore was in a strong negotiating position.

Also we had a real live Gammon.
