The Electoral Commission are about to release their findings that Vote Leave broke electoral laws so Laura Keunssberg is on R4 this morning putting just Vote Leave's side of the story before it's officially in the public domain, freely allowing them to smear the Electoral Commission and the whistle blowers before the Commission's evidence against them has been made public.

I have tended to give Keunssberg the benefit of the doubt, but not any more. She is abusing her position with this biased reporting.

This isn’t the official report. We don’t know the sanction. & it was leaked & spun by Vote Leave who put it out after midnight, post-football. These are criminal offences & @BorisJohnson & @michaelgove are in the frame & really troubling they used state broadcaster to do this

From the graun
This is the first time that the NAO has ever released private correspondence with a minister and is a reflection of the tensions between McVey and the NAO.

Tory MP for Taunton Deane busy boasting about a contract a local company has just secured to export ice cream to China - while we're in the EU.

Theresa May says this shows the opportunities available as we're leaving the EU, but as the contract has been secured already it's very difficult to see how Brexit makes any difference to this particular deal one way or another.

As we all know Germany sees no need to leave the EU to increase exports to China, so why do we? I wish political commentators would pick up on this rubbish a bit more.
