Still think it dubious No.10 using HMRC information (ie."business")for personalised targeted party political purposes.Though thousands of "business",start ups etc aren't really businesses as such.((Direct Payment/Personal budget)
Faisal Islam @faisalislam · 10m phoned up by middle ground Tory MP: “This is a s**tshow” - reports prominent PPS still in Government ringing around as alternative whip for ERG amendments... says Remainer MPs will now (today or tomorrow) push for full customs union to remind ERG of “mutually assured destruction”
May said at Chequers that if they didn't accept her proposals the pro-remain rebels would force through a customs union amendment.
So they kind of have to rebel, really, if they want May to be as good as her word.
If the ERG amendments stand, we're back to square one with May having nothing credible to go to the EU with on the Irish Border issue and that means no deal. At least that's how it's looking if Faisal Islam in correct in his interpretation:
Faisal Islam @faisalislam this is one of the Rees Mogg amendments accepted - it makes “unlawful” for HMRC to do what was official government policy as set out on Thursday and agreed at Chequers by Cabinet, unless EU also collects tariffs for UK, which was not mentioned in either last week. Incredible.
"" “” By June 22, Guccifer was encouraging anyone to communicate directly with its hacker avatar — and, as the indictment shows, it immediately drew in a host of Americans with influence in the media and Republican politics.
Some of the cache was particularly valuable because it included reports that the Democrats had compiled on vulnerabilities involving their own candidates — a due-diligence check to bolster their defenses — and never intended to make public. ***
In mid-August, the indictment noted, Guccifer 2.0 received a request for stolen documents from a candidate for Congress. The Russian intelligence operatives, it said, responded by sending the information about the …“”

Don't worry chaps, my friend Vladimir has denied this, his guys are so smart they never ever get caught, so it never happened !
Robert Peston ✔ @Peston If ERG amendment goes to a division. & it looks likely, we could see spectacular embarrassment for government: having surrendered to rebel Brexiters of ERG & adopted ERG amendments as its own, it would be amazing if those amendments were lost because of Tory Remainer rebellion!
The Commons is meant to start its summer recess on Tuesday next week. But, as HuffPost reports, there are rumours at Westminster, which are not being denied by people in government, that the government will bring it forward so that the recess starts on Thursday. MPs do know how to use phones, but plotting is always much more intense when they are gathered together in person in the House of Commons and, from the whips’ point of view, the best way to keep them out of trouble is to send them on holiday.
Breaking: one ministerial resignation about to be announced - saw the Minister going through the lobby with us now, against the Tory whip, to face down this ridiculous ERG amendment we’re voting on now (which the Govt capitulated on)
@robertshrimsley 38m38 minutes ago More The Tories are now totally trapped. Either they own a catastrophic hard Brexit for which there has been no adequate preparation, or they don't deliver the Brexit 70 per cent of their voters support.
