Musing re so called skilled/unskilled,particularly in care
Has various pernicious consequences

The devaluing of the very basics when they should be the absolute priority leading to neglect. There is no accident that bed sores, lack of food, toiletting and cleaning both of person and surroundings are the most common shortfalls.Such things are the fundamentals,on which all else rests.Hard enough to accept you may need assistance to then be deemed "low worth" strikes at the very core of self worth.

The social care money through the prism of " NHS winter crisis"is totally the wrong way to deal with/look at it.The facillitation of independent living which intrinsically includes benefits/budgets for the purpose.Done with serious and genuine intent(Labour were to their credit but as ever the DWP as the rogue pernicious player who should be disbanded or thoroughly reformed undermined/s)
is the way to go.

Y5 Swimming, Library and then straight into an LA meeting. In short, I'm busy...

I notice that apparently the cabinet has told May she has to say when she's quitting.

All going well then...

The actual patriotic duty is to get rid of the Tory government which has done evidential harm to the Country and its citizens in a thoroughly indecent and immoderate fashion.
