Out of idle curiosity does anyone know why Theresa May didn't join other world leaders in France today? It seemed a bit odd she wasn't there, though I know she did something earlier in the week in Belgium(?).

As for Jeremy Corbyn wearing the "wrong coat" his anorak did stick out a bit amongst all the greatcoats. He must have been advised against it so I presume it's a deliberate stand against stuffy convention. He's in good company. Personally I loved Meghan Markle's oversized dress pockets and her insistence on using them. I'm not sure Corbyn's anorak has quite the same panache though.....

Assuming May's "deal" gets voted down, surely she will have to go. Then I suppose there are three groups who are going to be key - ERG Tories, Remain Tories and the DUP. Is there the faintest chance of the Tories finding another unity candidate who can hold all those together?

I must admit that I groaned a bit when I saw the dangly hood. It smacked of pointlessly making a point. Couldn't he have tucked it away for the occasion?
