Companies press Brexit panic button in further blow to Theresa May

P&O opts for Cypriot flag, Sony confirms HQ move and Pets at Home stockpiles cat food
Why is this a further blow to Theresa May? Unless the Guardian is trying to portray her as a naive victim. Why do they think she could have expected anything different?

Especially from James Dyson - but I won't get into that . . .

There's this
https://www.theguardian.com/business/20 ... y-earnings" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The Office for National Statistics said the number of people in employment continued to rise following an increase of 141,000 to a record high of 32.54 million in the three months to November. The employment rate, which measures the proportion of working age people with a job, hit 75.8%, up from 75.3% a year earlier, the highest since comparable estimates began in 1971.
and then there's this
https://www.theguardian.com/politics/20 ... t-says-cbi" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
North-east England would suffer the biggest decline in economic output of any UK region by the middle of the 2030s if the country leaves the EU without a deal, according to an analysis of government figures by Britain’s leading business lobby group.
and when you look at what's actually happening now, it's this
Unemployment in the North East between September and Novermber was 71,000 - that's an increase of 14,000 on the previous quarter.
That last item was reported briefly on our local BBC news and I can't see it anywhere else at all.
