@adamfleming

I hear EU27 leaders are now discussing a #Brexit extension that ends on 7th May, whether the deal passes or not. Macron playing a big role, apparently.

Cabinet ministers believe there is now a real risk of a no-deal Brexit, with sources close to them describing the mood in government as depressing and No 10 as “run by lunatics”. (Politics Live, Guardian)

Donald Trump has announced that the US will recognise Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights - an election boost to Benjamin Netanyahu.

Has the Prime Minister cracked her Chief Whip?

https://www.itv.com/news/2019-03-21/has ... hief-whip/
I understand her sermon from the No10 lectern – damning of her Parliamentary colleagues on Brexit – has snapped the final bond of trust between Theresa May and Julian Smith - the man she relies on to deliver discipline, and most importantly, votes.

In the tea rooms and offices of Parliament, the Chief Whip has been openly admitting today that he found last night's statement in Downing Street "appalling."
And apparently she's decided that she's willing to take us out without a deal.

From Remain to hard-line Brexiteer is quite some turnaround...

Now all it needs is for someone to persuade Corbyn to fall on his sword for the good of the party and we'll have a GE around June.

UK could not be in a weaker position about Brexit.

There has been complete policy failure.

UK so weak EU is sorting out the exit for us. and will let us know.

PM has destroyed her position in Parliament.

The shambles is absolute.

This is what a Clusterfuck looks like.

I've just heard Theresa May's speech (from last night) again. The more I hear it, the more she sounds like an end-of-the-pier-show hypnotist. "You're tired of the in-fighting, you're tired of the political games . . . you're feeling sleepy."

The prime minister has no intention of revoking article 50, despite a public petition calling for the Brexit deadline to be cancelled passing 1.6 million signatures.

When asked for Theresa May’s view on the petition, a Number 10 spokeswoman told the Press Association that May worried failing to deliver Brexit would cause “potentially irreparable damage to public trust”. (Politics Live, Guardian)
No attempt at reaching out to heal rifts.
