More than 49,000 pupils ‘disappeared’ from English schools – study
rates were particularly high in a small number of schools. Just 330 schools, which constitute 6% of secondary schools in England, accounted for almost a quarter (23%) of the total number of unexplained moves in 2017.

Doesn't affect them, so why should they care?

That explains much Tory thinking.

The Tory party is a short-sighted and dysfunctional club.

What's going on with our air quality today, anyone know? It's unhealthy for everyone.

I know we don't do polls much on here anymore, but they have taken an "interesting" turn as of late.

Tories also a poor third in Euro election polls. Of course some have Farage's new party leading which is not exactly ideal.

I saw one poll with the Brexit Party on 27%, which I believe is the same as the Farage-led Ukip polled in the last EU elections in 2014. So it might be credible, I guess. Is the GE polling being affected by the focus on the EU elections or will the Tory losses be permanent? Either way, we don't really need the Brexit parties to do well in the Euros for the Tories to feel the heat from their predominantly Brexit supporting voters. That heat has been there all along and May's stubborn clinging to a hard Brexit position testament to it.

That particular effort was a push poll by PV (again) mind, and so should be treated with slight caution at this stage.

What's that about Labour being ahead in the polls?

The rise of the Brexit Party is bad news for Jeremy Corbyn

So...just as the BBC gave Arron Banks the opportunity to spin the Electoral Commissions findings over Leave.EU breaking electoral law while the EC wasn't in a position to respond and no one else had seen the actual report, stateside we've seen a similar manoeuvre today with the White House getting access and opportunity to frame Mueller's report before it's published, to ensure the right story hits the news (as we see on the BBC). Needless to say, anyone actually reading the report is probably still only about half way through at this point and there's definitely more to come from all this. With 20 outstanding prosecutions, most of the really interesting stuff is completely redacted due to "Harm to ongoing matter" and, most damning, Mueller lists a series of things that prevented him from establishing beyond reasonable doubt whether Trump was guilty of conspiracy:

Seth Abramson

124/ Wow—how Mueller says he was stymied:

(1) FIFTH AMENDMENT INVOCATIONS
(2) DOJ policies on attorneys and media
(3) Legal privilege protected by "taint team" review
(4) FALSE AND INCOMPLETE INFORMATION BY TRUMPISTS
(5) WITNESSES AND DOCUMENTS ABROAD
(6) DESTRUCTION OF EVIDENCE
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

So, Mueller says he couldn't establish whether Trump was guilty because of things like the destruction of evidence, turns into a BBC report of Trump being "exonerated". Meanwhile if you were hoping for any Wikileaks revelations, no joy. It's mostly redacted by the looks of it.

The best we've ever managed in the South West is one Labour and one Libdem or one Labour and one Green, so with Clare Moody topping the Labour list it seems a bit unlikely, but not impossible for Adonis. I fear Annunziata will be a shoe-in for the Brexit Party if she does stand in the South West. We also have an interesting one with a sitting ex-Tory MEP (the one I 'mislaid' in my comment the other day) making a recent change from independent to Change UK. Probably for the campaigning budget. Seems a bit hopeful tbh.

I am far from expert on US politics and Mueller's investigation.

But I think it's a work of genius. The Trump modus operandi just doesn't function with the equivocal verdict. Can't say he was guilty but can't exonerate. How does Trump actually cope with that?
