As previously stated there will be a time when never again will be applied to the recent and current times whereby the State systematically denied its sick, disabled and dying citizens the basics whilst defaming their characters all at extraordinary expense.

That was a strange little episode wasn't it, I don't think Marsh lasted that long there as it happened.Sky'sGoneOut wrote: Wasn't this shit supposed to stop happening after Sue Marsh took the Devil's shilling?

Heavily criticised but on the basis of "support group" dismayed me,the point being expectation not to have to,it should never stop full and active participation should you wish to in any way you want. The purpose of the group is widely misinterpreted, either wilful or ignorance.

I'd never even heard of a "mojito". Is it just posh speak for "bacardi & soda" or is it a proper thing everyone's drinking nowadays? I was only just starting to get the hang of Smirnoff Ice and G&T in a can. I'm feeling all behind the times again now.

Re: Easter weekend, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd April 2019
Had one last night, very nice. A mojito is mint (bruised), lime juice, white rum and soda, mixed in a glass with crushed ice (sometimes with added sugar). It's very refreshing, lovely on a hot summers day.Willow904 wrote:I'd never even heard of a "mojito". Is it just posh speak for "bacardi & soda" or is it a proper thing everyone's drinking nowadays? A similar drink is the Brazilian caipirinha, which has no mint and Brazilian cachaça liquor (similar to rum).

Shouldn't all new homes automatically come with individual charging bays or something? We have literally no vision in this country.

That would involve some kind of regulation. Can't be having that. People are lucky they have ceilings they can walk under without ducking.Willow904 wrote:Shouldn't all new homes automatically come with individual charging bays or something? We have literally no vision in this country.

School funding seems to be a topic again.
Nobody tells her how to spend her school budget so isn't the answer just " We need more money?"
Ah but she can't be seen to agree with the left so...
I'm fairly certain that her free school cheerleaders are disinclined to question La Birbalsingh on some of the bizarre things she comes out with...but this is just odd.Katharine Birbalsingh

I am one of those heads! Roof is leaking as I write! I too want more money but since the beg of time the Left’s response is always that what we need is more money. What is more important is better ideas. And more money with the same old ideas will get you what have always got

If I'm not here, then I'll be in the library. Or the other library.
Re: Easter weekend, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd April 2019
Actually, I thought Labour's response was "Building Schools for the Future". Both idea and money. She may not agree with the idea - children learn better in a modern, well built environment - but to say it was "just" money is a push. They also told councils what to do with it - hence the retaliatory ideology of giving schools back to "teachers" (or well paid academy chiefs) and out of the hands of meddling politicians. Or have I got the point of academies all wrong? (I'll confess I've always struggled to see the point of academies beyond the obvious transfer of assets from the public to the private sector).

I just saw a girl fall out of the Cellar Bar in Leeds, vomit on the pavement then get up and fall into the road where she was hit by a taxi, then be dragged up by concerned passers by only to get into said same taxi. Not some chav skank either, she was well dressed and somebody came out and put something big into the taxi before it went which I presume was her instrument. The late night drunks on New Briggate tend to have come from the Theatre and Opera house.

But anyway yes what a glorious day, I hope you were all out enjoying it.
I saw hares and Roe deers and buzzards and sparrowhawks and many species of butterflies and other assorted insects.
Last Sunday I was trudging along under 2 layers of fleece seeing fuck all.
Weather is weather, but wild swings in it is what happens when you dump a massive amount of energy into a closed system.
Everything becomes less predictable and more energetic.
Those electrons have to release their photons somewhere.
And that somewhere is here, back into a system that had tried burying carbon for millions of years until some idiots decided to dig it up and use it to kill people or dig up more pure forms of liquid carbon.
I remember rolling eggs down hills as a kid in sun and snow.
But never heat like this, in two out of three years.

The other assorted insects were mostly hoverflies.
They defend a patch of sun and if you stick a finger out and keep it there for a while they'll land on it.
Which is obviously awesome.
Unless other people intrude and it looks like you're standing pointing your finger at nothing and just being weird.
Under such circumstances I would suggest letting said fools pass by then continuing with the exercise.
Trust me, it's worth it.

Hmmm...this smells like rocky hash. Let's see what happens.
Fucking Rastas keeping their shit to themselves after a few drug busts round here.
Pauli's exclusion principle, it's why American generals can't walk through walls.
Why staring at goats is worthless.
And why stuff is stuff.
On a quantum level of course.
I could go on to chemical bonding but I doubt you fancy a lecture in chemistry.
