He had savings when he started, attempted to put money aside when on UC but then talks about the debts he has to pay back when he finally found a job. So UC put him in debt, even though he started out with some money to cover the first 5 weeks, which a lot of people don't. As an "advert" for UC, its actually pretty damning.

It takes about eighteen months to get your head right after a bereavement the misuse of UC and his manipulation as a "spur" is sickening.

My "job" was the mutual endeavour of continued life rather than existence, employment is relatively fluff. Each to their own in prioritisation.

The measure contains no exception for rape and incest, after lawmakers voted down an amendment Tuesday that would have added such an exception.

The legislation, which passed by a vote of 25-6, makes it a class A felony for a doctor to perform an abortion, punishable by 10 to 99 years in prison.

In theory, the state and federal appeal courts will throw it out and the Supreme Court will decline to even hear it because it so obviously contravenes settled law. We shall see.

They have even less chance of being elected in Scotland than most other places, but still......

I'm staggered - genuinely - at how totally amateurish and unfocused they have been.

(though maybe it shouldn't be totally surprising, only 3 of the MPs who defected to them are any good - and two of those are Tories)
