Clarityn + red wine + Sky'sGoneOut = being woken up by the bus driver in Leeds bus station.

After a week of hayfever misery I conceded defeat yesterday and went and got some antihistamines. Obviously I researched beforehand which were the least likely to render me unconcious after alcohol and settled on Clarityn. This, as the above suggests, was a complete failure. I remember trying to stop myself lying down and curling up on the seat as we were approaching Farsley then nothing until a nice portly driver shook me awake at Leeds bus station.

But to be fair my nose is no longer running uncontrollably so swings and roundabouts and all that.

The only way to control the harm you're talking about is through a well funded and functional welfare state.

Unfortunately most of the people we all rub shoulders with couldn't give a shit until they need it because they've been subjected to decades of propaganda about the state wasting their taxes. Never the Tory state of course, never the billions wasted on Universal credit or the millions on Boris' Garden bridge. It's always about us on the left frittering away their cash on stuff like trying to give their kids school meals or offering their kids somewhere to go like youth centres and giving them avenues to express themselves other than stabbing each other.

My bus stopped on the way home on Chapeltown road because it was blocked off by police cars. I got off the bus with the driver to find out what was going on and yet again a black kid had stabbed another black kid. After a word with the police our bus was allowed to move on and everything went back to normal.
