The Johnson altercation thing.
Re: Saturday 22nd June & Sunday 23rd June 2019
I keep thinking I know what Tories are like and yet they keep surprising me with their hypocrisy and venality. They'll overlook anything and stoop to any level to get Johnson elected & installed as PM. What exactly they think he's going to do when he gets there, with a hostile and hung parliament, is beyond me. I'm kind of hoping they're stupid enough to think he can win them a majority & give us an early chance to get them out.HindleA wrote:Asking for a lawyer,is being Allison Pearson a criminal offence?

Correct and to be congratulated behaviour, take it upon yourself to get people by the neck at a security monitored function.Incorrect behaviour to be suspected and condemned contacting the proper authorities on more than reasonable grounds of concern of safety of others.
Re: Saturday 22nd June & Sunday 23rd June 2019
Apparently it's not Johnson's fault he acted like a tantrumming child, but ours for knowing about it. Or something.
He'll make a brilliant PM, as long as we all pretend he isn't doing what he's doing and acting like he's acting, because noticing he's a lazy, rude, womanizing twatface is unfair and partisan.
Here ends a public service announcement by a panicking Tory press.

What a fucked up Society where not only is such scrutinisation of an obviously shorter life before access to support is deemed appropriate andt the encouragement of resentment should you receive it as "unfair"/"burden"

Not so's I've noticed. But there does seem to be emerging the idea that if you suspect someone is committing an offence, you have to have a chat with them first to see if their political views are the same as yours. If they are - feel free to dial 999. If they're not - let them carry on, unimpeded.

Still the case even now.had a 2hr +meeting at school and then went and voted in the nursery next door.
That the Leave side seems to have no idea what will happen post-Brexit apart from saying "Yeah, we'll be fine. Trust us" when the "us" are people I wouldn't even trust to tell me the right time made it a simple choice.

So frustrating how the Groan uses the term "Tory-led government" to avoid blaming the Lib Dems for the fact our government is shortening people's lives.

Call it what it is. It's a cult.
Those who bang on incessantly about the cult of Corbyn need to pause and look at what's happening here and acknowledge that this is exactly the same.
