PF - sorry about free reign with the English language
Sometimes I stop seething just long enough not to give a damn
(But not very often and not for very long)
Kinnock amendment- it doesn't seem clear what it means and I wonder if the Government's mischief was mainly in just trying to sow more discord in the Labour party and amongst potential Labour voters. If it came to the situation that the existing WA was passed then Johnson would lose a confidence vote, the Brexit party would actively stand against the Conservatives in the following GE and it would become almost impossible, in FPTP, for the tories to win. Labour could say we've met the terms of the referendum, tear up the PD and negotiate something much closer. I think in principle that such a deal is a dumb deal but in reality it might be a silver lining.

Yes - the massive mandate...the people have decided...bollix
Having read Rentoul (apologies) is Corbyn really confident he can win an election?
Would this not be unlikely if the vote, as anticipated, will be around Brexit and not much else?
