If I'm not here, then I'll be in the library. Or the other library.

Tinyclanger, what I think is that for the first time in all my years watching the UK parliament I was, without any hint of hyperbole, shocked, sickened and frightened for the future of this country.tinyclanger2 wrote:What does anyone think?
I know I've given Corbyn a lot of stick on this forum but after witnessing that utterly disgusting and frankly chilling performance by Johnson tonight there can only be one priority and focus from here on in and it's keeping that repugnant sack of shit out of power or I genuinely fear the repercussions.

Perhaps the scariest bit though is the applause of Tory MPs.
Whatever the ruling the rule of law appears to be more of an option than a rule.

Dominic Grieve has called the applause terrifying.
Personally I thought it was all a bit desperate. He's their last great hope and I suspect that hysterical ovation belied a great deal of trepidation. It wasn't supposed to be like this, he was supposed to be their saviour, and now there's fuck all they can do besides cheer him on for their own sakes no matter the monster they've created.
