Good morfternoon.

Boris Johnson has no intention of apologising for failing to meet his repeatedly-promised deadline of 31 October to leave the EU, and believes parliament is to blame for the delay, Downing Street has said. (Politics Live, Guardian)

By the way Boris, just how did you get this wonderful deal which "everyone said I wouldn't get"?

" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

UK gives up £7bn windfall from European Investment Bank. Boris Johnson has had to compromise to get his deal.

No wonder the EU were happy to reopen talks!

Actually it would appear from reading the replies - as I should have done before I posted and blamed Boris - that this was in the previous Withdrawal deal.

I wonder what Sky was expecting? My having left the commando gear at home likely caused confusion. I look different in armour.

Old story but new ban. Take the opportunity afforded by a GE if we have one and don't stand again. Even if we don't have a GE then stand down anyway.

Boris Johnson just referred to Esther McVey as the "Secretary of State for Work and Pensions". She's his housing minister.

It was obvious from the start that certain people in the "People's Vote" campaign saw it mainly as a way of either "retaking" the Labour party or pushing it aside entirely.

Just returned from the Roundhouse after having my eardrums battered with a barrage of noise. My hearing is still intact thankfully.

So a single Labour MP neither abstained not voted against but voted For an election?

When I saw there was only 1 it didn't take much to work out who it was...
