On Sky, Matt Hanock says new cancer treatments are being rolled out "from Barnsley to Bassetlaw; from Wigan to Warrington."

Kay Burley: "That's not very far, you know."

Hancock: "It's also happening in Cornwall."

Is the number of MPs standing down within a relatively short period of time precedented?

I think if you add the 2017 retirees to the current retirees the total number is pretty average for the end of a 4-5 year parliamentary period. Though I don't know if that necessarily makes the current exodus "normal".

Evening all. Back from a tiring day at the coalface library.

Did we all see Steve bell's cartoon that was in the Graun this morning - it's rather good...

If I'm not here, then I'll be in the library. Or the other library.

Either I don't understand what's going on, or I don't trust any of them anymore. As far as I can see, backing the GE has just put no deal back on the table.

Again - am I missing something?

It won't be fully off the table until we either leave with a deal or decide to remain.
