You can see the reasoning behind the sudden "conversion" - all the time that it was winding up those silly lefty environmentalists, the right loved it...but then they realised that it was happening in the North. Which, oddly enough, has a lot of voters who might not be too happy with earthquakes...
It'll be interesting to see what the Brexit Party manifesto says on this - well, on anything really.

You would think that the Graun, with it's green 'credentials', would choose a better headline.The government said it would not agree to any future fracking “until compelling new evidence is provided” that proves fracking could be safe.
