Trading Standards warning over buying unsafe chargers online this Christmas
Funnily enough I needed to buy a new charger recently and discovered very few available to buy in local shops. There were a few with lightning connectors but Tesco had just one micro USB charger for tablets and phones so I had to buy that one. Fortunately it seems pretty solid, unlike the cheap one I turned down from Argos when I saw it as it came in a small plastic bag with just a barcode on it. There were no electrical specifications to check compatibility. Very poor.

Spending endless monies in pursuit of denial/reducing support knowingly causing harm regularly found to be illegal;apparently this is one nation Toryism, economic competence and upholding British values;if so thank the Lord of non-existence for financially imprudent soullessness.

The pension thing should have alerted to the inadequacies of the working age benefit system, the misuse/fakery of deserving/undeserving/life not conforming conveniently to an ascribed age specifics/delusion that the SP isn't a benefit/the crapola of the entitlement culture theme or at least the deliberate encouragement of thinking you are,it's the others .

I don't usually listen to radio or news broadcasts. I read transcripts. In my head, Jeremy Corbyn's voice is somewhere in between the voices of Jimmy Stewart and Gregory Peck.

Leaders are to be mocked. If you are sure of your beliefs it wouldn't matter to you, they stand up regardless.Although said in jest he does come across that way in the alternating speechifying sense.

Ofcom have rejected the Conservative's complaint over the empty chairing and ice sculpture for the environment debate on C4.

Calling an equal invite to all party leaders to attend "politically biased" was always a long shot. Boris Johnson's noticeable absence was created by himself, not the broadcaster.

It was always going to fail, the point is that sort of Trumpian tactic helps keep their "base" in line.

Good morfternoon.
Johnson describes Labour claims about NHS being under threat from US as 'Bermuda Triangle stuff' (Politics Live, Guardian)
Bermuda Triangle? Isn't that where things disappear? For example, perhaps, the NHS . . .

That's the second time I've heard Johnson mention the Bermuda Triangle in conjunction with plans for the NHS.

People seem to be conveniently forgetting that Trump is a liar. Apparently he doesn't - contrary to photographs going back over many years - know Prince Andrew.

And cultural references when you're in your 50s? Probably a bad idea - they go out of date very quickly.

My first posts were deliberatively comparative ie.continued misuse of courts/legal process(and consequent (mis)use of supposed hallowed taxpayers' money in pursuance of knowing harm)versus an alternative, indeed the alternative-as much as I bemoan,as I always will and should (there is no correct end point but a continual push towards always being dissatisfied), paternalistic, nice words repetitive congruence,as yet unworked out etc)Labour is by far the better option.
