BREAKING: Arlene Foster says she’ll never trust Boris Johnson again, coming as a shock to many as it implies she once did.

Ha ha, but that series is arguably partly responsible for where we are now.

So Boris Johnson, unwilling to take responsibility for the state of NHS after 9 years of Tory government, reacts by confiscating a journalist's phone and putting it in his pocket?!

I'm not sure what's more worrying. The callous disregard for the suffering of a 4 year old boy, the attempt to dodge responsibility for his party's poor record on the NHS or the sheer arrogance that makes him think he can just swan off with someone else's personal property.

If people have been waiting for the mask to slip, then this is it. And if people vote in ignorance of his true character on Thursday, the mainstream media will be largely responsible because he's given them more than enough material to show the nation what their current and wannabe Prime Minister is actually like.

When is a punch not a punch?

Answer - when someone not looking where they're going walks into someone's arm who isn't actually facing them...

Any evidence that the pointing man was a Labour activist?

Or was it a non-punch from non-Labour?

Is there any apology for the lie and slanderous reporting?

Good morfternoon.
ITV’s Robert Peston has blamed “senior Tories” for telling him and other journalists that a special adviser to Matt Hancock, the health secretary, had been assaulted by anti-Tory protesters outside Leeds general hospital. Subsequently video footage shows that the aide, Jamie Njoku-Goodwin, was accidentally hit by an outstreched arm. (Politics Live, Guardian)

Robert Peston

@Peston

It is completely clear from video footage that @MattHancock's adviser was not whacked by a protestor, as I was told by senior Tories, but that he inadvertently walked into a protestor's hand. I apologise for getting this wrong.

Nothing in the way of an apology from Laura Kuenssberg. There's a strange "Tweet" from her which is rather ambiguous. She'll probably say it was intended to be "humourous".

Laura Kuenssberg's "Tweet" -

@bbclaurak

Have video from Hancock leaving Leeds General just come through so you can see for yourself - doesn’t look like punch thrown, rather, one of Tory team walks into protestor’s arm, pretty grim encounter

Speaking of hilarious things that really aren't, I don't know if anyone else watches C4 News, they had a jaw-dropping undercover report from Hartlepool about the Brexit Party. What delightful people they attract.

Labour attacks ‘bare-faced lying’ after video shows adviser walking into activist’s arm

The shadow chancellor, John McDonnell, accused them of lying and attempting to manipulate the media after Conservative sources claimed on Monday afternoon that the adviser to the health secretary had been hit by a protester at Leeds General infirmary during a campaign visit. (Guardian)

:shock: Steele had 'personal' relationship with Ivanka Trump, DoJ report reveals

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/201 ... _clipboard" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The former MI6 officer Christopher Steele had a “personal” relationship with Ivanka Trump and gifted her a “family tartan from Scotland” as a present, the long-awaited report by US Department of Justice inspector general, Michael Horowitz, revealed on Monday.

A tortured innuendo, the mark of a true British spy.

Andrew Sparrow thinks this about BJ not looking at the photo
It is not as bad as when Gordon Brown called a woman a bigot in the 2010 campaign for raising concerns about immigration,
Really? and then
post-election analysis subsequently concluded that bigot-gate had no effect on the result at all. Labour even won the constituency where the voter was insulted.
Could it be that most Labour voters thought Brown was right?

Hearing that Angela Rayner has "smashed it" in a TV debate for the second night in a row 8-)

I am aware that the fundamentalist wing of Corbynism don't fully trust her, but she is nonetheless impressive.
