See that's the result of a soft Southern education. Up North we have to memorise Camus and Kierkegaard or we get hit with sticks with nails in them.

There are theories that this was also inspired by Camus.

Tenuous at best but what the fuck, it's great.

I came across that theory, too, in my internet perambulations today. Something to do with absurdists, probably.

Only because I like it - and most of the rest of their stuff. And because of the use of British slang, which is unusual for an American band.

I went to see this lot a couple of weeks ago (I think I posted it at the time) and between songs she explained how British swear words are permeating American culture because they're meaningless to them, they can be used with impunity, eventually she got us all doing the wanker gesture during one of her songs. I don't think Annie Hardy is going to be part of the me too movement anytime soon.

I don't remember your mentioning it. Perhaps I wasn't paying sufficient attention . . .

For all the smokers of weed out there substituting tea for tobacco be careful.

After forgetting to get my Tesco's Chamomile I'm now left with some Twinnings Earl Grey which may be a good tea when commanding a starship but is harsh and horrible when smoked.

Having Eliza Doolittle come from Chichester sounds like cheating to me.

Night PF, just confronting some darkness here, has to be done or the beauty doesn't sparkle.
