You think that's bad, the LibDems aren't even going to *start* their contest until after Labour have finished......

Another surprisingly interesting twitter thread from a Telegraph Europe editor on our decision that the NI protocols in the WA mean what we say they mean and nothing else.

^^^ Foster is off to the FT - I can't say I blame him - far too sane for where he is now.

So...I heard that Toby Young was given a nice platform on Today to promote his free Speech Union (sic).

Apparently Ed West things these plans of action are good.
If you find yourself being targeted by a digital outrage mob on social media for having exercised your legal right to free speech, we will mobilise an army of supporters.

If a petition is launched calling for you to be fired when you’ve done nothing wrong other than exercise your legal right to free speech, we’ll organise a counter-petition.

If you’re no-platformed by a university—a feminist professor who challenges trans orthodoxy, for instance—we’ll encourage you to go to law and organise a crowdfunding campaign to pay your costs.

If newspaper columnists and broadcasting pundits start attacking you for dissenting from orthodox views and opinions, we’ll get our allies in the media to come to your defence.

If you’re punished by your employer because you’ve exercised your lawful right to free speech, we’ll do our best to provide you with legal assistance.
So, to be clear, they have a "digital outrage mob" whereas we have an "army of supporters" - from the outside it might be hard to tell the difference.

And do have a look at their team.

Douglas Murray, bods from the Institute of Economic Affairs (incl. Mark Littlewood), Spiked, Jon Moynihan who was behind the Parents and Teachers for Excellence, Andrew Roberts. Lionel Shriver...and Paul Staines.

Yes, I'm sure this lot will be comforting for anyone on the left who thinks that the FSU will support them...

Mind you, as somebody said on Twitter it would be quite amusing if the likes of Galloway and Williamson tried to join up with this bunch of grifters.......

(and could they reasonably be turned down?)

Theresa May and other Tory party leadership hide behind Johnson like it's not their pursuit for power having materially damaged UK people.
